Intro to Women's Self-defense

Williams MMA is offering an introductory, 6-week course in women’s self-defense. The class will give participants the tools to develop situational awareness, stay composed during an altercation, and fend off an attacker. During the sessions our goals will be accomplished through the drilling of basic, digestible techniques and live self-defense exercises. Each session will build upon the previous one and fortify each person’s ability to defend themselves. The course is very hands-on as individuals must experience the fray of a fight and scramble out of controlled situations so they may be comfortable and confident enough to not freeze up in a real attack. No one is going to become an expert in 6 hours of training, but our goal is to provide participants with experience working and fighting through discomfort within the confines of a safe space. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way and everyone deserves to feel safe and able to protect themselves.
